I met with this lovely family at the end of December to capture some maternity shots. Emma was almost 36 weeks pregnant at the time.
We captured both studio and natural documentary images, They’ve been extremely hard to narrow down to share so here’s a just a few, I’m almost certain they’ll be more to come from this family…..

Over the Easter holidays I was lucky enough to fly over to Ireland and spend some time with my family. Upon my arrival I got to meet the newest addition to the family, Baby Scott, just 2 weeks old!

I knew from the second I booked our flights I wanted to capture beautiful Scott, unfortunately I couldn’t take my studio on the plane so these images were taken using natural light (always best) & for our backdrop Nanny held up a blanket. I can safely say I love the effect that has been created. A naturally lit perfect studio.

Ahhh I loved the birth of Freddie so much, Lena experienced what I could only have dreamt of with my births. I didn’t even know home birth was an option. She did so amazingly well, giving birth completely naturally. By choosing a birthing pool at home, beautiful Freddie was born into a world surrounded by familiarity and love.
Lena had the support of her partner Stuart & her son Tommy in the birthing pool. Also present were Lena’s mum & sister, a true family affair.
Her midwife was local independent midwife, Virginia Howes.

Lena, every time I look back at the story of Freddie’s birth I smile, you were so amazing and truly inspirational.
I find it so hard to believe a year has passed, what a gorgeous little baby Freddie is! Happy very 1st Birthday Freddie! Enjoy your extra special day!
